I think one word sums it up: access. Since I’m not tied to the schedule of an agency or larger organization, I can pass on some of that flexibility to clients. Graphic design, web design and photography projects get my full attention. They aren’t relegated to a junior designer or intern.

Clients also get the best of two worlds. My overhead costs are minor, so I’m able to keep my rates competitive, while the flexibility of working on my own gives me the ability to work when my creative juices are flowing, to deliver the best product possible.
