Team Marketing Alliance Web site design

This Web site design for tmagrain.com allows TMA to publish news articles and provide up-to-date commodity prices for their patrons. It’s built on a content management system so they can add new content to the site easily. I tried to give the design a little of an “agricultural” feel, while giving it an updated look. We integrated several third-party scripts to provide market data and commentary.

  1. Great job, Darren. I like the way you’ve used the red to highlight a few selected elements, the rollover effect on the orange menu bar, and the texture you added with the bg images (both the wheat and the stippled pattern behind the logo and in the footer).

How did you find Joomla to work with? I’ve looked at it but have never had a project that would benefit enough from it to merit taking the time to learn. I assume there are folks from all four coops who use CMS interface. Too bad they didn’t allow you to migrate those sites over into this one. :-o

I never tire of admiring your work. Always great stuff. Always.

  2. Thanks for your comments, Bruce. I like working with Joomla. Now that I’ve used it for a few sites, I have a better understanding of what can be done with it. There is a good library of extensions for Joomla, too. Of course, my own site is built on WordPress, which I really like for it’s simplicity and usability.
